In Squash, India’s Anahat Singh, Joshna Chinappa and Abhay Singh have stormed into the Semi- final of Indian Open

Anahat defeated Egypt’s Nadien El Hammamy 3-2 in the women’s quarterfinals in Mumbai yesterday. Meanwhile, Joshna Chinappa conquered Akanksha Salunkhe 3-2 to enter the women’s semifinals round.

Newly Ranked Number one, Anahat Singh will take on former Asian Champion Joshna Chinappa in the women’s semi-final clash today. The match is set to start at 6:30 pm. Abhay Singh also reached the semifinals with a 3-nil win over Ameeshenraj Chandaran of Malaysia in the men’s draw. He will next take on Egypt’s Karim el Hammamy in the semifinals today. The match will begin at 7:15 pm.
