Kashmiri Pandit Sabha Amphalla Jammu honoured the toppers of the Kashmiri Pandit Community in the Class 12th Exams held in the year 2021

The function started with the recitation of gyatri mantra by Sh. S. L. Bhagati General Secretary. While welcoming the Chief Guest he said that it our privilege to have three times Vice-Chancellor  of Shri Vishwkarma Skill University as our Chief Guest and I am sure that his blessings will go a long way in guiding the students  in shaping their future life.

This function was organized in the Sabha  to honour the toppers of the Kashmiri Pandit Community in the Class 12th Exams held in the year 2021. This was the 10th such function which is being held since the year 2012. The meritorious students who have scored above 95% marks were awarded a certificate along with a momento and cash award at the felicitation function by the Chief Guest on the occasion Sh. Raj Nehru Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University. Sh. K K Khosa President Kashmiri Pandit Sabha Jammu presided over the function. The Sabha also felicitated Sh. Raj Nehru for his appointment as the Vice Chancellor of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University for a record third term recently. 26 children of the community were felicitated on the occasion namely Sarthik Bangroo, Janit Pandita, Ritika Kher, Karishma Raina, Ashwani Kumar Pandita, Avni Pandita, Shruti Pandita, Ayush Bhat, Aarushi Koul, Bhavnesh Bhat, Samay Shah, Vanshika Raina, Vimersh Bhat, Khushi Pandit, Nadhika Handoo, Medhavi Tikoo, Sheen Dhar, Surbhi Koul, Rashi Raina, Arpita Bhat, Nitya Bangroo, Khushi Raina, Vishakha Razdan, Vivek Bhat, Mehak Bhat, Suhani Bhat. In his address on the occasion Sh Raj Nehru recounted the difficulties that KP Community had to face because of forced migration from our place of origin. He said that Kashmir was JANPADH and cradle of knowledge in where from it disseminated into the entire country and led to the opening of very first University (Texla University). He explain the process of progressive realization of our achievements by giving the example of birth of butterfly. He exhorted upon the students to explore the genetic code of our DNA imbibed in our blood and prove the mettle  and make the community proud. He thrusted upon the students besides achieving excellence in academics they should become good humans. He said that health is of paramount importance and should never be taken lightly for we have to be strong to face the struggle in life

Sh. K K Khosa congratulated the students and their parents for glorious success and exhorted them to look beyond the traditional career options especially higher studies, research, humanities, culture, civil services, medicine, law, entrepreneurship etc. This would serve a twin objective since lots of opportunities are now available in the Union Territory of J&K where we have as many as eleven universities and more than five Institutions of excellence including IIT, IIM, AIIMS, etc. This will help you in achieving proficiency in your career and give you the opportunity to stay in your home state and contribute towards it’s socio-cultural and economic development as well.
