ZDPC Appeals for Unity Amid Crisis at Mata Sharika Temple

ZDPC is seriously concerned about the recent developments at Mata Sharika Temple( Hai parbhat). But it has been observed that false and misleading stories are also being spread by few individuals with the clear intention of damaging the reputation of ZDPC. Let it be clearl,we will not stay quiet in the face of such malicious propaganda.
ZDPC is a legally formed, democratically elected body that work with honesty, transparency, and fairness. We take every step in the interest of our Sanastha and our community and under the framework of accountability. we received strong support and appreciation during the recently held General Body Meeting (GBM) on 30.03.2025. Many decisions were taken and the Audited Balance Sheet was laid before the GBM and discussed component-wise, proves the trust our members have in us. Not to mention that ZDPC has strong 500+ members having representation from across all the districts of Kashmir.
Spreading lies is not only shameful but also an attack on the hard work, values, and credibility of ZDPC. We firmly believe that ZDPC should be a role model for other Sanasthas for its transparency and Accountability.
To those behind this smear campaign: let it be clear do not put our patience to the test. If these baseless attacks continue, we will take strong and lawful action against those individuals.
We also take this opportunity to make a heartfelt appeal to our community — let us come together with maturity and responsibility to find an amicable solution to the current crisis surrounding our revered deity, Maa Sharika Asthapan. This sacred place holds deep spiritual and emotional importance for all of us, and it must not become a target of division.
We strongly condemn those forces who are hell-bent on tarnishing the image of our places of worship in Kashmir. Such actions are not only disrespectful but also dangerous to our collective faith and unity.
Let it be made clear — nobody is above the law. No individual or group has the right to take the law into their own hands.
We appeal to all members of the community: Stay alert, stay united, and do not fall for divisive tactics.
In the end we again appeal the members of our community in general and the members of Sharika temple in particular to sit together and find an amicable solution for the present crisis and take necessary steps for transparency and accountability in the system for smooth function of the sanastha.
