IMD forecasts increase in rainfall activity over northwest India from tomorrow

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast for increase in rainfall activity with isolated heavy to very heavy falls over northwest India from tomorrow onwards. It said, very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall is expected in Madhya Pradesh today. There is a forecast for heavy rainfall in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Western Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Kerala and Karnataka today.

Fishermen have been advised not to venture along and off Gujarat coast, Konkan coast, Andhra Pradesh coast, central Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea today.
