Sensex Rises 275 Points, Nifty Up 74 Amid Mixed Global Cues

Benchmark domestic equity indices, Sensex and Nifty, were trading with modest gains in forenoon trade amid mixed global cues.

Sensex jumped 275 points, to 82 thousand 133, and Nifty increased by 74 points, to 25 thousand 125, when reports last came in. On the sectoral front, Realty, Pharma and Industrial were leading while weakness was seen across FMCG and Services.
