Mild earthquake of magnitude 3.5 recorded in Kupwara

Kupwara,  KNT : An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 was recorded in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir at 1:41 pm IST on Thursday.

According to preliminary parameters and as per the National Center for Seismology, the tremor struck at a shallow depth of 5 kilometres with the epicentre near latitude 34.68 north and longitude 74.39 east. [KNT]
