Administration Regrets Inconvenience as Ladakh Festival Ends a Day Early
Leh, KNT: The Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh on Wednesday announced the cancellation of the last day and closing ceremony of the ongoing Ladakh Festival 2025 due to unavoidable circumstances.
In a statement, the Department of Information and Public Relations said the administration deeply regretted the inconvenience caused to all stakeholders, including local artists, cultural troupes, tourists, and the people of Ladakh, who had been eagerly looking forward to the concluding events.
The administration appealed to the public for cooperation and understanding, while expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support and participation in the festival.
Officials noted that the Ladakh Festival has served as a valuable platform for young and budding artists from the region to showcase their talent and develop their skills. The administration said the event continues to aim at promoting and strengthening the tourism sector across the Union Territory of Ladakh. [KNT]
