Soldier Injured in Anti-Personnel Mine Blast in Gulmarg Sector

Baramulla, KNT: A soldier was injured in an anti-personnel mine blast that occurred at an FRP barrack in the forward post Fualad area of the Gulmarg sector in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

Official sources said that following the incident, the injured JCO was immediately evacuated by helicopter to 92 Base Hospital, Badamibagh, Srinagar, for advanced medical treatment. He has sustained splinter injuries to his lower limb in the blast. The injuries were stated to be non-fatal.

Sources said medical teams at the military hospital are monitoring his condition, which is reported to be stable.
