Motorcyclist Critical After Collision Near Fruit Mandi Shopian

Shopian,  KNT: A motorcyclist sustained critical injuries in a road accident near the Fruit Mandi area of Shopian on Thursday.

Officials said the accident occurred between a motorcycle bearing registration number JK22C-2712 and an Alto car bearing registration number JK22A-7919.

The injured motorcyclist was identified as Junaid Ahmad Mir, son of Abdul Rasheed Mir. He was shifted to a hospital in critical condition for advanced medical treatment.

The Alto car was reportedly driven by a resident of Sheikh Mohalla Shopian.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway. [KNT]
