IMD Forecasts Heavy Rainfall Over Southern States Till June 6
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal till Wednesday. Heavy rainfall is also expected over Odisha, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and the northeastern parts of the country till tomorrow.
IMD said that thunderstorms accompanied by hailstorm are very likely at isolated places over East Rajasthan, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Vidarbha today. While thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are expected at isolated places over Delhi, Haryana, and Chandigarh till tomorrow.
Meanwhile, IMD has forecast hot and humid weather conditions over Konkan and Goa today. The weather agency also predicted dust storms at isolated places over Rajasthan during the next two days.
