Southwest Monsoon Extends Over Entire Delhi, Further Advances Into Several States

The Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into the entire Delhi, some more parts of Gujarat, the remaining parts of Uttar Pradesh, most parts of Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and some parts of Rajasthan.

The met department has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall with isolated Extremely Heavy Rainfall at isolated places over Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Odisha and West Madhya Pradesh. Heavy to very heavy rainfall conditions are predicted over Chhattisgarh, Coastal Karnataka, East Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Mahe, Uttarakhand and Vidarbha.
In Delhi, the sky is likely to remain cloudy with a possibility of light rain during the day. The IMD said that the maximum temperature in the national capital will be 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will hover around at 22 degrees Celsius.
