Three CRPF Personnel Injured in Road Accident in Budgam
Budgam, KNT: Three Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were injured after a CRPF vehicle met with an accident at Sheikhpora in Budgam district on Wednesday, officials said.
The injured personnel, all belonging to Delta Company of the 25 Battalion CRPF, were immediately shifted to District Hospital Budgam for treatment.
Officials identified the injured as CCT/GD Krishna Gangaya, who was referred to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar, for specialised treatment; HC/GD Sushil Chand, who was referred to the Bone and Joint Hospital, Barzulla; and HC/Driver Abhishek, who sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment at District Hospital Budgam.
The cause of the accident was not immediately known. Authorities are ascertaining the circumstances surrounding the incident. [KNT]
