Union Home Minister Amit Shah Arrives In Pune For Two-Day Visit

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah arrived in Pune last night on a two-day visit. He will present the Lokmanya Tilak Memorial National Award to National Security Advisor Ajit Doval at a function in Pune today.

The day marks the death anniversary of freedom-fighter Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak and the birth anniversary of social reformer Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe. Various programmes are being organised across Maharashtra to commemorate the occasions. After the award ceremony, Mr Shah will pay floral tribute at the memorial of Annabhau Sathe.
