MoS Pabitra Margherita Participates In Guyana’s 60th Independence Anniversary Celebrations

Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita participated in the celebration for 60th anniversary of Guyana’s independence and 60 years of India-Guyana diplomatic relations yesterday. In a social media post, Mr Margherita said that India reaffirms its commitment to a trusted and forward-looking partnership with Guyana as the nation commemorates the enduring values of freedom, dignity and justice.

The Minister said that India-Guyana cooperation continues to expand across energy, healthcare, digital innovation, capacity building and sustainable development. He said that India looks forward to strengthening bilateral ties for the benefit of the people of the two countries.
