IMD Forecasts Heavy Rainfall Across Several States
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall today over parts of Coastal Karnataka, East Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Keralam and Mahe, Odisha and South Interior Karnataka. Parts of north-east India, Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, gangetic West Bengal, Karnartaka and Madhya Pradesh are also expected to receive moderate to heavy rainfall during the day.
The Weather Agency also predicted thunderstorms, lightning and gusty wind conditions today in places over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Madhya Maharashtra, Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu Puducherry and Karaikal. Similar weather conditions are also likely to prevail over north-east India, Bihar, Coastal Karnataka, East Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Telangana, West Bengal and Sikkim.
