IMD Alerts Heavy To Very Heavy Rainfall In Himachal Pradesh, Odisha
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange colour warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall, along with thunderstorms and lightning, over Odisha during the next 2 to 3 days. The Met Department has also forecast heavy rainfall, along with thunderstorms and lightning, over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, and Rajasthan over the next 2 days.
Similar conditions are expected to prevail over Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Sikkim and Madhya Pradesh. Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand and Bihar are also likely to witness thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds till Thursday.
