India To Take On Bangladesh In Semi-Final Of Women’s Asia Cup Today
In Cricket, India will take on Bangladesh in the semi-final match of the Women’s Asia Cup today in Dubai. The match will begin at 08:00 PM IST. India will look to maintain their dominant run in the tournament. Harmanpreet Kaur’s team won all three group matches, beating Thailand, Hong Kong and Pakistan convincingly. Bangladesh finished second in Group B behind Sri Lanka.
India have won 21 of their 24 T20 meetings with Bangladesh and are unbeaten against them in their last eight encounters. Bangladesh’s last Asia Cup win over India came in 2018, when they stunned India to claim their first title. Bangladesh, however, has improved significantly in recent years, pushing Australia, England and India in major tournaments and recently beating Pakistan in the UK.
