Balloon Marked ‘PIA’ Found in Field in Samba’s Purmandal

Samba, KNT: A balloon bearing the inscription “PIA” was found lying in a field at Khara Madan area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Purmandal in Samba district on Friday morning, police said.

According to the information received by police, the balloon was spotted by locals, following which the matter was reported to Police Station Purmandal.

A police party from the police station subsequently rushed to the spot to verify the circumstances and ascertain further details, officials said.

Police said necessary action would be taken based on the findings of the verification. [KNT]
