Inspired by the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to build a Nasha Mukt Bharat

RAJPURA, 2026: Inspired by the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to build a Nasha Mukt Bharat, a youth awareness programme under the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan was organised today at Government Higher Secondary School, Rajpura.

Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Ramgarh and Former Minister for Health & Medical Education, J&K, was the Chief Guest. Addressing the students, Dr. Manyal called upon youth to stay away from drugs and stressed the need for collective efforts to create a drug-free society. He urged students to spread awareness among their peers, families and communities and contribute towards the vision of Viksit Bharat.
The programme forms part of a 100-week youth-focused campaign, commenced on August 2, 2026, aimed at strengthening awareness and community participation against drug abuse.
Sonia Sharma, Principal, GHSS Rajpura, delivered the Welcome Address and highlighted the importance of educating and empowering students to make healthy and responsible choices.
Students actively participated through awareness speeches, a skit and poster-making activities, conveying strong messages against drug abuse.
The programme was organised by the Government Higher Secondary School, Rajpura. in collaboration with Reacha Foundation, under the supervision of Isha Bali, State Head, J&K Events, Reacha Foundation, with support from Nations Development Association (NDA), affiliated with MY Bharat, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
Sushil Singh Charak, Chief Functionary, NDA and MY Bharat Resource Person, delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, school administration, organisers, teachers and students for their participation and support.
The programme concluded with Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal distributing certificates to the participating students in recognition of their active participation.
