109 Mission YUVA enterprises operational in Lolab this fiscal
Srinagar, KNT: As many as 109 enterprises have been established and reported operational in Lolab during the current financial year under Mission YUVA, with loans and subsidy assistance totaling ₹6.58 crore, the government informed the Legislative Assembly on Thursday.
The figures were provided by the Labour and Employment Department in response to a question by Lolab MLA Qaysar Jamshaid Lone regarding loans, subsidies and other financial assistance provided under self-employment, livelihood and entrepreneurship schemes.
During 2026-27 so far, 109 Mission YUVA beneficiaries in Lolab received loans of ₹6.08 crore and subsidy or other assistance of ₹50.33 lakh, with all 109 units reported operational.
The Industries and Commerce Department separately reported that 790 units had been assisted in Lolab under various schemes, involving financial assistance of ₹12.41 crore. Of these, 651 units were assisted under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme with ₹9.62 crore, while 626 of those units were reported operational. [KNT]
