J&K LG pays obeisance at Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine, bats for enhancing religious activities

Jammu, August 20: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, who is the Chairman of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board on Thursday paid obeisance at the Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi and prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.

Manoj Sinha, who was on his first visit to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine after taking over as the Lt Governor of J&K UT earlier this month, inspected the wayside facilities put in place by the Shrine Board for facilitation of the pilgrims.

At Bhawan, the Lt Governor inspected the arrangements made by

the Board for the pilgrims in view of the resumption of the Yatra on August 16.
