
Jaipur, Auguist 26: Appalled by the grave consequences of COVID lockdown on the people of Rajasthan, especially small businessmen, farmers and tradesmen, a meeting was convened in New Delhi of top leadership of Rajasthan National Panthers Party under the chairmanship of its State head, Sh. Anil Sharma, it was unanimously resolved that the party and its cadre will extend every possible assistance to the Hon’ble Chief Minister and the State Government in uplifting the affected people from this challenging situation.
Mr. Sharma said that in this time of adversity, Panthers Party remains committed to help the people with the help of the State Government. While expressing his displeasure over the recent political turmoil in the State, he exhorted the party works to unite in public interest and works towards extending welfare measures all possible help to the needy individuals. He heard concerns regarding the entrance exams of students scheduled in the coming weeks, which are likely to contribute to spread of the deadly virus and place the life of students at risk.
It was further resolved that the Chief Minister be requested to release a relief package for the farmers and daily wage workers who have suffered immensely because of the lockdowns. While appreciating the steps taken by the Gehlot Government, it was resolved that the gap between the expectations of the populace and the benefits trickling down to the end user was extremely wide.
Mr. Sharma declared that they will appeal to the Civil Society to stand up for the rights of the less privileged while assuring support of the party and its cadre for any such individual, institutional or government initiatives which can alleviate the sufferings of people. Referring to the ‘Pradhan Sevak’ claims of the Prime Minister, Mr. Sharma told the gathering that we have chosen a life of public service and it is the need of the hour that all of us work together as servants of the public.
