BJP has done nothing in J&K; we support statehood for J&K: Lok Janshakti Party
Kashmiri Pandits need development not ‘bhashan’: Anita Chandpuri
Jammu, August 27: Even as the elections are nowhere near site the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), an alliance partner of BJP at centre has come out in election mode and lashed out at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for doing nothing for the state of Jammu and Kashmir particularly after the abrogation of the provisions of Article 370. The party has also supported the state hood demand for J&K.
The LJP National Spokesperson Sanja Saraf yesterday said that LJP supports the demand of restoration of statehood to J&K going against the silent stand of BJP that is promising much but giving little.
LJP leader was speaking at a joining ceremony of LJP at Srinagar yesterday.
Meanwhile LJP state women wing president Anita Chandpuri while talking to The Right News (TRN) lashed out at BJP for neglecting the state particularly Jammu and Kashmiri Pandits saying it has done nothing for the state till date.
Chandpuri was talking to TRN Bureau Chief Rohit Bhat and responding to a question on Article 370 she said that after the abrogation of the article BJP failed to restore the confidence of people particularly Kashmiri Pandits and people of the state in general.
She said that Kashmiri Pandits need development not ‘bhashan’ of netas, they need compassion and real upliftment and not half Kg ‘channa’ that government thinks KPs would be happy with.
She said that KPs have fought tooth and nail for the abrogation of article 370 but got nothing from the government citing the miserable life of Jagti inmates where Kashmiri Migrants have been put up adding the government has failed them utterly.
