India is witnessing a trend of declining average daily Covid cases over the past 5 weeks.
The active cases have gradually fallen and currently stand at nearly 8 lakh 60 thousand.
The number of recoveries in the country continues it’s upward streak and is more than 7 times the number of active cases.
The Health Ministry has said that the Centre in close collaboration with the State and Union territory governments has adopted a graded strategy for COVID-19 management and public health response.
It said, sustained efforts of TEST, TRACK, TRACE, TREAT and TECHNOLOGY is progressively yielding encouraging outcomes in the country’s fight against the pandemic.
