Maharashtra govt announces evaluation scheme for 12th standard of State Board

Maharashtra government today announced an evaluation scheme for students of 12th standard, studying in junior colleges of State Board of Higher Education. In the final result of 12th standard, 30% weightage will be given for 10th and 11th standard marks. For 10th standard marks, an average of 3 subjects having highest marks will be considered.

Final results of 11th standard will have 30% weightage. 40% weightage will be given to Marks obtained in internal exams, practice exams, first semester exams of 12th standard. Repeater students will get 50% weightage for marks obtained in 10th standard and 50% weightage will be given for the subjects already pass by the students.

Detailed government resolution in this regard has been issued today. Due to covid 19 situations in the state, exams are already cancelled. Those who are not satisfied by the marks obtained in this evaluation process will get 2 attempts to appear for regular exams, which will be organised after improvement in covid19 situation.
