CII enters into agreement with SII to speed up vaccination program in partnership with industry including health care providers

Confederation of Indian Industry, CII, has entered into an agreement with Serum Institute of India (SII) to speed up the vaccination program in partnership with industry including health care providers. The vaccination drive will target communities in country’s small towns and rural areas to increase the coverage. CII and SII partnership will ensure to connect hospitals and corporates to fast track vaccination which is necessary for post pandemic growth of the country. According to SII CEO Adar Poonawala, partnering with industry will help in reaching out to the communities in the hinterlands within a short period of time.
