Pandita appeals to release the wages of Migrant Anganwadi workers forthwith
Jammu, 1 August:- Apni Party State Coordinator Displaced Kashmiri Pandits Vinod Pandita has appealed Chief Secretary J&K to direct the concerned Department to release the wages of Migrant Anganwadi workers pending since 2018 forthwith.

In a statement issued today, Vinod Pandita said that many Migrant Anganwadi workers approached him & apprised that their honorarium for seven months in 2018, four months of 2019 besides entire year of 2019 & seven months of 2020 was not paid to them due to which the workers are suffering a lot of hardships and this has added to their mental agony and miseries .
Pandita said that these migrant Anganwadi workers are performing their duties in different centers in Jammu in migrant ICDS centers with dedication and sincerity and it is quite unfortunate that their honorarium has not been released since 2018 which is a matter of concern and needs immediate review .
He appealed Chief Secretary J&K to look in to this matter on humatarian grounds and direct the concerned authorities to release their wages forthwith to mitigate their pain and agony on this count .
