National COVID-19 recovery rate reaches 97.40 percent; Over 35,499 new cases reported in last 24 hours

Union Home Ministry said, 39 thousand 686 patients recovered from Covid during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate has reached 97.40 percent. Till now, more than three crore 11 lakh people have recovered from COVID-19.

The Country has reported 35 thousand 499 new cases in last 24 hours. Currently India’s active caseload is at around four lakh two thousand. The active cases constitute 1.26 per cent of the total reported cases so far and daily Positivity Rate stands at 2.59 per cent.

The Ministry said, testing capacity has been substantially ramped up and 48 crore 17 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far.
