Anurag Singh Thakur felicitates four Tokyo Paralympics medalists
Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur today felicitated four medalists – Sumit Antil, Devendra Jhanjhariya, Yogesh Kathuniya and Sharad Kumar. These Paralympians won medals in the Tokyo Paralympics.

In an event organized in New Delhi, Mr. Thakur lauded the performance of these Paralympians saying that they have made country proud by their remarkable performance. He said, the Government has provided every possible support. He expressed confidence that Target Olympic Podium Scheme, TOPS will be continued and it will be strengthened in the future.
Talking exclusively to AIR News, Gold Medalist Sumit Antil said, the government has provided every support and it has motivated the players. He said, awareness must be increased for the popularity of the Paralympics.
Talking exclusively to AIR News, Silver medalist Devendra Jhajhariya said, he had set the target to make hat trick of medals in the Paralympics games. He said, it is a proud moment that he has made hat trick of medals in Paralympics.
