Prez, VP, PM and other leaders extent greetings on Chhath
President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders have extended their greetings to people on occasion of Chhath festival.
Taking to Twitter, President Ram Nath Kovind said, “Greetings to all the countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Chhath Puja. This festival is also an occasion to acknowledge our dependence on nature, especially the sun and water. I wish it Along with making our cultural heritage strong, the festival should also strengthen our efforts to protect the environment.”
Vice President Venkaiah Naidu in his message said, “Many best wishes to all of you on Chhath, the great festival of sun worship. Chhath Goddess bless everyone with good health and happiness.”
Prime Minister in his message wrote “Good wishes to all on the great festival of sun worship. May Mother Chatt grant good health, happiness and good fortune to all”.
Home Minister Amit Shah also extended his wishes to the people.
“Hearty greetings to all the countrymen on ‘Chhath Puja’, the great festival of sun worship. May the Sun God infuse happiness, prosperity, good health and new energy in everyone’s life. Jay Chhath Goddess !,” he tweeted.
BJP President JP Nadda in his message said, “Hearty greetings to all the countrymen on Chhath Puja, the great festival of sun worship and folk faith. I wish everyone happiness, peace, splendor and good health from the Sun God who removes the darkness with his light.”
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also extended his wishes on the occasion of Chhath Puja.
