Admin bans pvt tuitions
The education department on Thursday ordered blanked ban on private tuitions by the government teachers in the Baramulla districts.

The directions have been issued by the Chief Education Officer Baramulla after reports emerged that several teachers have been teaching in private tuitions across the district.
“No teacher should be allowed to violate government norms. Again and again, the department has been saying that government teachers should refrain from indulging in private tuitions”, a senior official in the education department said.
He added, “Also we the education department has started winter camps and tuitions for students across Kashmir which is our main priority and we cannot let government teachers go private tuitions”. Meanwhile, a circular in this regard has been issued by the office of the Chief Education Officer Baramulla.
“In light of the directions issued by the department from time to time, all the Teachers, Masters & Lecturers of the district are directed not to practice Private Tuition/Coaching in any private institution/coaching centre. As such all the school Heads are advised to certify that none of their teacher/lecturer is unauthorized involved in private tuition”, the circular reads.
“Any of the teaching Personal found violating the directives, strict action shall be taken against the officers involved as it amounts to serious violation of the Government Employees Service Conduct Rules which prohibits on the practice of Tuition/Involvement in the private tutorial in any capacity by Government School Teachers”, it added. Moreover, Zonal Education Officers are also put under instructions to maintain a strict vigil over the violators of the said directions and prompt reporting to this office thereof, it added.
