J&K recorded 418 fresh Covid cases in the past 24 hours; 311 from Jammu and 107 from Kashmir

The Government informed that 418 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 311 from Jammu division and 107 from Kashmir division, have been reported, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 342419.

Moreover, 140 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 28 from Jammu Division and 112 from Kashmir Division.

The Bulletin informs that one new case of Mucormycosis has been reported, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 51 across J&K..

On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 83,611 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,89,79,313.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 342419 positive cases, 1819 are Active Positive (894 in Jammu Division and 925in Kashmir Division), 336070 have recovered and 4530 have died; 2199 in Jammu division and 2331 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 19623565 test results available, 342419 samples have tested positive and 19281146 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 59,716 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
