BJP welcomes everyone from every region and every religion, said J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina while prominent political and social personalities from Mendhar (Poonch) hailing from different political parties chiefly NC and PDP joined Bharatiya Janata Party at its party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina accompanied by party General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul and Executive Committee Member Devender Singh Rana welcomed the new entrants into the party fold. BJP Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta, Media Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Mohd. Rafiq Chishti, Rajesh Raina and Mohd. Iqbal Khwaja  were also present on the occasion.

New entrants joined BJP in the leadership of Sardar Kafeel Khan former District President Youth PDP along with Sanjeev Kumar Fancy District Vice-President NC Poonch, Jagdish Chander Sharma(Social Worker Mendhar), Om Prakash Sharma senior NC leader Mendhar, Koshal Kumar Sharma Panch Mendhar, Er. Kanav Narayan and Retd. Master Mohd Rafiq Jatt (Mendhar).

Ravinder Raina while welcoming the new entrants from the border areas of Mendhar said that BJP is a “Vision” to benefit everybody while mentioning schemes like free ration, Health cards, Jan Dhan accounts, Ujjawala Yojana, toilets, ring roads, fly-overs, roads etc. He said that BJP has successfully gained the trust of common masses with the public oriented works and policies. He said that BJP is the best platform to serve the Nation and society with selfless efforts. He said that it gives immense pleasure to welcome all into the party irrespective of their region or religion.

Raina said that stressed on the landmark decisions taken for giving justice to all the communities of J&K to strengthen democracy here especially mentioning the benefits to Paharis and Gujjars & Bakkarwals. He further said that BJP is of the firm view that new entrants will give their best efforts for the development in the region without any prejudice, while they will work for the extension of the party activities in the region.

Ashok Koul stated that with the charisma of excellent works by Prime Minister Narendra Modi people in large number are joining BJP. He also spoke of the excellent response BJP is getting from the residents of far flung areas of Jammu and as well as Kashmir region. He said that under the strong leadership of PM Modi India is on the course to become Vishav Guru. He welcomed all new entrants with open arms into the world’s biggest political organization and prompted them to dedicate themselves for the welfare of the society and the Nation.

Devender Singh Rana said that the party is committed to uphold the cherished agenda of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas by steering all segments of society, irrespective of caste, religion and region, on the path of progress and development. This is the guiding philosophy that will lead Jammu and Kashmir to an era of peace and stability by weathering all the challenges with courage and fortitude, he added and exhorted the people to become part of the mission in making this great nation a world leader, as envisioned by the Prime Minister and work towards forging the bonds of unity and amity with a renewed vigour.

New entrants thanked senior party leadership for the love and affection. They said that NC, PDP, Congress are the parties of single family while BJP is the party of the masses. They said that parties like NC, PDP, Congress never fulfilled their promises and they have strong belief in the leadership of PM Modi that now their all long pending demands will be met. They also assured the senior party leadership that he will work in accordance with the party principles.
