Free Medical camp organized under “Mobile Health Clinic Program”
People’s Hut Foundation Foundation conducted a Free Medical Check-up Camp for local villagers of Block Marh, at Manohar Palace Gajansoo, Marh Jammu in collaboration with Vinayak Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences along with the Health and Medical Education Department (Directorate of Ayush, UT of J&K).

Dr. Dheeraj Raina (Medical Officer) at Government Ayurvedic Hospital Shalimar Jammu was the Camp In charge. In the camp a team of 6 Doctors along with other paramedical staff were present.
More than 200 local villagers of Marh Block and nearby villages availed the benefit. Patients underwent Free Diagnostic Check Up and health check-up by the team of specialist doctors and were given consultation and medicines free of Cost. People of the area have hailed the efforts of People’s Hut Foundation and hoped to organize such camps in future also.

The beneficiaries received the medicines of Ayush and also received vitamin B Complex, protein, Iron and Calcium tablets etc. Medicines on cold and cough, pain relief ointment were also distributed to the needy people free of cost.
Organizer of the camp at Manohar Palace Mr. Suresh Kumar who is the Director of Resolvio Foundation said, “Such kind of medical health check-up camps for needy citizens shall be organized periodically at various locations in Jammu with the help of various reputed hospitals and doctors, NGOs.”
Speaking on these important initiatives Chief Guest of the Camp Mr. Tarun Uppal, Chairperson of Nirbhay Bharat Foundation said, “People’s Hut Foundation NGO is committed to undertake a number of social activities in larger interest of the community, especially in the areas of health and education as it’s the focus of the org.
Special Guest and Camp organizer S. Amardeep Singh who is the Managing Director of Diva Group and Vinayak Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences said Inaccessibility of hospitals due to the strenuous walks up and down the mountains makes it impossible for the people living in the remote villages to avail healthcare services.

Dr. Rohit koul, Director and CEO of People’s Hut Foundation said, To make healthcare services easily available People’s Hut Foundation under its imitative “Mobile Health Clinic Program” is conducting visits to the community residing in rural and far flung areas and services like routine health check-up, is being provided.
In future family counseling and sensitizing activities will also be conducted for the people who lack healthcare facilities . He added with these initiative’s a large number of locals benefitted from the camp including children’s and senior citizens and in future these camps continue to serve the people.
