COVID 166 new cases, no fresh death
The Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday recorded 166 fresh Covid cases, which took the tally to 4,52,155, while no death due to the virus was reported in the past 24 hours, officials said.

Out of the fresh cases, 103 were reported from the Jammu division and 63 from the Kashmir division of the Union Territory, they said.
The officials said Jammu district recorded the highest of 51 cases followed by 23 cases in Doda district.
There are 2,294 active cases in the Union Territory, while the number of recovered patients is 4,45,115, they said.
The death toll in Jammu and Kashmir due to the pandemic is 4,746 as no fresh fatality was reported in the past 24 hours, the officials said.
Meanwhile, the officials said, there were 51 confirmed cases of Mucormycosis (black fungus) in the union territory as no fresh case was reported since last evening.
With 469 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 445,115 which is 98.44 percent of the total cases.
“Cases tested positive in J&K include 21 from Srinagar, 04 from Baramulla, 04 from Budgam, 03 from Pulwama, 13 from Kupwara, 06 from Anantnag, 10 from Bandipora, 02 from Ganderbal, 00 from Kulgam and 00 Shopian in Kashmir division while as 103 from Jammu division include 51 from Jammu district, 05 from Udhampur, 01 from Rajouri, 23 from Doda, 08 from Kathua, 01 from Samba, 02 from Kishtwar, 03 from Poonch, 05 from Ramban and 04 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities said that no fresh cases of Mucormycosis popularly known as black fungus was reported in the UT and the tally stands at 51.
As per officials figures, 102,074 positive cases including 907 deaths and 10,544 recoveries are from Srinagar, 37,551 including 304 deaths and 37,121 recoveries are from Baramulla, 34,772 including 34,466 recoveries and 237 deaths are from Budgam, 18,409 including 18,199 recoveries and 201 deaths are from Pulwama, 21,689 including 174 deaths and 21,441 recoveries are from Kupwara, 22,409 including 22,101 recoveries and 219 deaths are from Anantnag, 13,659 cases including 13,480 and 118 deaths are from Bandipora, 13,626 including 13,517 recoveries and 84 deaths are from Ganderbal, 16,301 including 16,154 recoveries and 118 deaths are from Kulgam and 6,304 including 6,223 recoveries and 60 deaths are from Shopian.
In Jammu division, 75,743 including 74,089 recoveries and 1,222 deaths are from Jammu district, 14,702 including 14,530 recoveries and 147 deaths are from Udhampur, 12,787 including 12,502 recoveries and 248 deaths are from Rajouri, 11,324 including 10,781 recoveries and 144 deaths are from Doda, 11,366 including 11,137 recoveries and 166 deaths are from Kathua, 9,073 including 8,918 recoveries and 125 deaths are from Samba, 5,843 including 5,783 recoveries and 45 deaths are from Kishtwar, 7,729 including 7,588 recoveries and 110 deaths are from Poonch, 8,097 including 7,931 recoveries and 69 deaths are from Ramban and 8,697 including 8,610 recoveries and 48 deaths are from Reasi.
As per the daily information bulletin 6,040,146 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 33,664 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 2,294 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 5,553,179 persons have completed the surveillance period and 446,263 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 22,753,717 samples are available. Out of 22,753,717 the number of samples tested negative stands at 22,301,562 while as 452,155 have tested positive, among them 2,294 persons are active, 445,115 persons have recovered and 4,746 persons have died
