Dr. Sakshi holds AYUSH medical camp at Village Kalyanpur

Under the guidance, of Director Ayush Dr. Mohan Singh and supervision of District Ayush officer Dr. Suresh Sharma, a medical camp cum awareness camp was organised at Aaganwari Centre, Mohalla Harijan Basti Village Kalyanpur.

The camp was conducted as a part of ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by the staff of Government Ayush Health & Wellness Centre, Shamachak. The camp was conducted by Dr. Kamal Kishore Dubey and Dr. Sakshi wherein 225 beneficiaries were examined and provided free medicines.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sakshi highlighted the benefits of Ayurveda in building immunity, saying ‘good health is the harbinger of happiness’. She asked everyone to adopt herbal medicines and enhance their body immunity as a part of a proactive measure to fight the several types of virus. She asserted that these herbal medicines are most beneficial supplementary for people.

Dr. Sakshi also made people aware about lifestyle disorders and its management through adoption of regime of Dincharya and Ritucharya.

Dr. Shakshi said it is important to create awareness on India’s traditional medicines and medical practices all over the world. She appealed the citizens of Jammu to take full benefits from these valuable Auyush camps.
