Srinagar, March 02, 2022: The Rights News (TRN) keeping its policy of highlighting the positive side
of the society brings to you yet another successful story of two brothers Sameer Fayaz Pandith and
Shahid Fayaz Pandith who re not only well qualified but had a successful career and cushy jobs
abroad before retuning to their mother land to start afresh and become an inspiration for the
younger generation to be job creators instead of job seekers.
In this conversation of the TheRightConnect with our Kashmir Bureau Chief Manzoor Ahmed Mir,
Pandith brothers speak about their love for the motherland Kashmir, their urge to be with their
parents and a goal to set up a new venture ‘The Bloom Bakers’ of their own and become job
providers instead of working for other companies to earn their livelihood.
In our last episode TRN talked to Fayaz Ahmed Pandith who dwelt at length about his passion for
Kashmir and how he persuaded their children Sameer Fayaz Pandith and Shahid Fayaz Pandith to
leave their cosy jobs abroad and return to serve their motherland in Kashmir.
Sameer who is a hotel management graduate has worked in various hotels in Kashmir before joining
a hotel in Dubai where he learnt different things relating to his profession and a thought struck his
mind that they can start something similar of their own in Kashmir itself and be at home and earn a
good living besides providing jobs to those who need them.
Sameer says that he talked to his brother Shahid Fayaz Pandith who was also in Dubai and they
discussed the proposal and decided to return to Kashmir in 2018.
They started a restaurant and bakery in Gurugram first but after Covid Pandemic they started a small
bakery in a small room and on getting good response they moved ahead and now many hotels,
restaurants, supermarkets are on their client list.
They introduced new products and shifted to Shalimar where they established a new venture with
new innovations that they had learnt from their experience in Dubai and other places and were
instrumental in developing new tastes among the people besides training new people who not only
work in their establishments but also start their own ventures which is their motive to help younger
generation to be self-reliant.
Sameer says that he wants to give a message to the younger generation not to be dependent on
government to provide them jobs saying jobs are limited but if you want to setup something of your
own there is no limit.
Shahid Fayaz Pandith who is an MBA and used to work for J&K Bank says he was not satisfied with 9
to 5 job and later worked for another Bank in Dubai but still felt something missing. He believes that
one should not compromise on discipline and quality if one wants to succeed despite difficulties.
Watch the full interview to get inspired and know how one can do wonders if they have a desire to
succeed and is a lesson for the younger generation.
