Police facilitates PCPG meeting in Sopore

As a part of public outreach programme, Police in Sopore facilitated Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Police Station Panzla. The meeting was held while following social distancing norms and other protocols.

The meeting was organised on the directions of SP Sopore Shri. Sudhanshu Verma-IPS accompanied by SHO Police Station Panzla. The meeting was attended by respectable citizens of Shalkote, Wanpora, Patoosa and Takiya areas.

During the meeting, the participants raised various issues pertaining to Police and civil authorities. The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with concerned authorities for their early redressal. The chairing officer also sought their cooperation in maintaining peace & stability in the area besides, identifying anti-national & anti social elements.

The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police and Administration in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
