PHE daily wagers stage protest, seek regularization
Hundreds of daily wage workers of the Jal Shakti department on Tuesday staged massive protest to press for their long-pending demands of regularization and release of pending wages.
The workers, under the banner of Public Health Engineering (PHE) assembled in Press Park Sumbal and raising slogans ” We want Justice and Regularize us .
They were demanding regularization of their service and release of pending of wages
Union President Jal Shakti Department Sumbal Showkat Ahmad said we are demanding our justice since past 30 years but no one is listening to our genuine pleas
He requested the LG administration to look into the matter personally and Regularize our service and also implement Mini wages act to the daily wagers .
He said that we are working day in day out for the betterment of the people but neither we are being regularized nor minimum wages act has bee implemented as promised by the successive regime
Abdul Rashid Khan President J&K Against Corruption while talking to reporters have urged PM Modi, HM Amit shah, LG Manoj Sinha to look into their genuine demands of daily wagers.
