Painting Competition as part of Rajouri Day celebrations held at Valley View Army Public School, Rajouri
Festivities galore are ongoing at Rajouri as part of Rajouri Day celebrations, with an Inter School Painting Competition orgainised on 09 Apr 2022 at Valley View Army Public School, Rajouri under the aegis of Ace of Spades Division.
The aim was to nurture and foster the creativity and promote extra-curricular activities in the region, simultaneously creating awareness in budding children.
More than 60 students from 7 schools portrayed their imaginations on the canvas.
The competition was held for the children between the age group of 05 to 17 years in three different age group. Separate themes were kept, which included “Swachh Bharat”, “Apna Rajouri” and “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. The students displayed indomitable spirit and competitive attributes by bringing the kaleidoscope of their imagination on their drawing sheets.
Overall First Prize went to Army Goodwill Public School & Second Prize to Talim Ghar Higher Secondary School. The event was graced by the Station Commander, ZEO and other dignitaries.
