MeraAspataal Provide better services to patients for good feedback: H&ME to HoDs
The government has directed Head of Departments (HoDs), Head of Hospitals and Healthcare of medical institutions in Jammu and Kashmir to provide the highest standard of services to patients and improve their respective scores on the MeraAspataal app.
Launched on 29th August 2016 in India, MeraAspataal (My Hospital) initiative is a simple, intuitive, and multi-lingual application that captures patient feedback in a very short time on the services received from both public and empaneled private hospitals.
Now the Health and Medical Education Department has asked officials to ensure in improvement of score at MeraAspataal App.
A circular has been issued by Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, Principal Secretary to Government, Health and Medical Education Department in this regard.
“In order to monitor, assess and improve the delivery of Health Care in the hospitals of J&K, patient feedback/satisfaction score from hospitals through the “MeraAspataal” App has been introduced and regular monthly feedback is being generated which is being monitored at the highest level of the UT Administration”, the circular reads.
“While being assessed, the Jammu and Kashmir Patient Satisfaction Score for previous has indicated that the score is very low at an average for all the hospitals, which has been viewed seriously by the higher authorities”, it added.
“Therefore, it is impressed upon all the Head of Departments and Heads of Hospitals and Healthcare institutions of Jammu and Kashmir to ensure that the highest standard of services is provided to the patients and improve their respective scores at least above 90 points for the coming months and subsequently setting a target of 100. These instructions may be followed in letter and spirit”, it added.
