DHSK okays promotion of staff under PM package
The Directorate of Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) Friday ordered the promotion of 20 employees appointed to the Prime Minister (PM) Package.
The promotion comes in the backdrop of the decision taken last month by the administrative council, which had met under Lieutenant-Governor Manoj Sinha to approve the scheme for the promotion of PM package employees.
During the meeting, the government had also said that all posts under the PM Package have been re-designated as divisional-level posts in Kashmir Division. The implementation will be monitored at the highest level.

As per the order issued by Deputy Director Health Services, Head Quarter Kashmir, 15 employees who were working on a designation of Junior Pharmacist have been promoted to Senior Pharmacist, and 5 Junior Lab Technician has been promoted to Senior Lab Technician.
“In terms of Govt. order No. 34-JK(DMRRR) of 2022 dated 22.06.2022 issued by Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation & Reconstruction, J&K and as recommended by the Departmental Promotion Committee in its meeting held on 17.06.2022, sanction is hereby accorded to the promotion of the following employees appointed under Hon’ble PM package in the pay level of (Level-6 35400112400) against the supernumerary post shown against each”, reads the order.
As per the order, the evaluation of the employees of the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir appointed under the PM package from to time shall be subject to the following conditions.
The conditions include the extension in the method of recruitment as envisaged in Govt. order No. 10 HME of 2009 dated 01.01.2009 & 362-HME of 2007 dated 25.05.2007 against these categories of posts is accorded by the competent authority.
A satisfactory report with regard to the vigilance clearance is received from concerned quarters in respect of officials. Outcome of any writ petition (s), pending in any competent Court of law /CAT. Further, these officials shall continue to work at their present places of posting till further order.
