Edu Dept’s ATD -2022 524 online representations accepted, scores of offline applications junked
Setting aside hundreds of representations made to the Administrative Department in the form of hard copies, the government of Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department Tuesday accepted 524 online representation of teachers for Annual Transfer Drive (ATD) 2022.
Amazingly out of 524 representations, majority of them are inter district transfers on various grounds.
“ It has been observed that teachers are submitting their representation to the Administrative Department for considering their inter district deployment on one or other grounds. In view of this, it has been decided that those who were not able to apply online during ATD 2022 for inter district transfer on Security/ Spouse/ Health grounds can send their representation on the specific email IDs along with valid documents in PDF form. It is made clear that those who have already applied online shall not apply again and all offline representations stand disposed off from the date of issuance of this notice. The last date for accepting these representations through e-mail is 11.07.22 and no representation shall be considered after the cut off date”, said the notice issued by the Administrative Department of SED.

Meanwhile, official sources said that barely a few transfers on a regular basis, the SED has accepted 524 representations for transfers on Security, Marriage and Health grounds.
The latest notice has appeared seven days after the School Education Department (SED) had directed Director School Education, Jammu/Srinagar and Chief Education Officers to dedicate at least one hour 3 days a week to Annual Transfer Drive (ATD) till the phase-2 process is completed.
The directions were issued following the unnecessarily visiting teachers to the administrative department regarding their grievances related to the Annual Transfer Drive.
Mayank Sharma, Under Secretary to the Government, School Education Department, had issued a circular which read as , “Whereas, the School Education Department invited online applications from eligible Lecturers/Masters/Teachers of School Education Department for considering transfers through automated central processing. However, it was also decided to decentralize the process as per competency for transfers of Masters and teachers. Whereas on the basis of above inputs and processing, the list of applicants so generated for transfers in phase 1 are being sent to Director, School, Education, Jammu/Kashmir for masters and CEOs for teachers for verification and issuance of transfer orders at their end after due verification.” it “added as, “Lot of delay has happened in the verification process by offices, leading to uneasiness among applicants. Whereas those officials who did not get their choice in AYD Phase-I (Displaced) shall be given a second chance to apply in Second Phase-Il.
