BJP leader survives accident

Former minister of Jammu and Kashmir and Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) vice president Sham Lal Sharma survived an accident on Monday after his car collided with a truck.

The incident was reported to have happened when the truck was coming from the opposition direction on the Akhnoor-Poonch road.

While Sharma is safe, four people, including his personal assistant and driver of the car sustained injuries in the accident.

According to SHO Akhnoor, HilalAzhar, Sharma was in a Ford Endeavour and it was hit by the rashly driven truck.

The truck driver has been arrested.
