Home Minister Amit Shah reaches AIIMS to enquire the health of three injured ITBP jawans

Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached JPNA Trauma Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi on August 20 to enquire about the health of the three injured ITBP jawans Constable/GD Balwant Singh, Constable/GD Tsewang Dorje, and Constable/ GD Bablu Kumar. They were admitted there after being shifted from Srinagar yesterday through special air ambulances.

The Home Minister was briefed by the Doctors about the health condition of the jawans and future medical procedures being followed. Senior officials of ITBP also briefed Mr. Shah about the health condition of the injured jawans. The Home Minister wished the injured personnel speedy recovery.

A tragic Bus accident happened near Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 16th of August when the ITBP jawans were returning from Chandanwari after successfully performing the security duties in Amarnath Yatra- 2022.

Seven jawans lost their lives while 32 were injured in the accident. The injured jawans were evacuated to Srinagar on the same day for treatment.

Three critically injured ITBP personnel were shifted to JPNA Trauma Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi yesterday through special air ambulances from Srinagar for better treatment.
