Indian shuttlers MR Arjun and Dhruv Kapila beat the Danish pair of K Astrup – A Rasmussen 21-17, 21-16 this morning in the BWF Championships at Tokyo.
Pooja Dandu-Sanjana Santosh duo lost to Lee-Shin, while Ashwini Ponnappa -N Sikki Reddy were defeated by Q C Chen -Y F Jia in the women’s doubles event.Lakshya Sen, HS Prannoy and Kidambi Srikanth will be in action later in the day for men’s single event facing Luís Enrique Peñalver Kento Momota and Zhao Junpeng.
Gayatri Gopichand and Treesa Jolly will be competing in the women’s doubles while Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will be in action in the men’s doubles.
