Union Agriculture Minister to inaugurate Regional office of CDB at Junagadh

In Gujarat, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will inaugurate the Regional office of the Coconut Development Board at Junagadh today on the occasion of World Coconut Day.

The Regional Office will give a major boost to coconut production in the state. This office will not only provide monetary assistance to the farmers but also help them to access and adopt scientific methods for the cultivation of coconuts. Junagadh, Gir Somnath, and Porbandar districts are the major centers of coconut production in the state. Coconut is grown in an area of nearly 25,000 hectares in the state.

State Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel will be present on the occasion.
