Armenia and Azerbaijan report border clashes; Azerbaijani troops left dead in latest flare

The Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has claimed that 49 servicemen were killed as fighting between Armenia and Azerbaijan flared up again.


The radio of Armenia said that the number is not final and may increase as the fighting still continues in several directions. Armenia said that several towns near the border with Azerbaijan, including Jermuk, Goris, and Kapan, are being shelled today, September 13.

However, Azerbaijan said, it was responding to a buildup of Armenian landmines and weapons near the border.
