SAFF Women’s Football Championship, India to take on Bangladesh in last group league match in Kathmandu today
In the SAFF Women’s Football Championship, Indian eves will take on Bangladesh in their last group league game today, September 13 in Kathmandu, Nepal. The match will start at 5.15 PM Indian time.
Indian women have already secured a semifinal berth, after registering victories in their two matches. Dominating the ongoing SAFF Championship, the Indian women’s team defeated Pakistan 3-0 in their opener and then demolished Maldives 9-0 in their second game of Group A.

Bangladesh has also reached the semi-finals after winning their opening two matches.
In the last match of Group B yesterday, Nepal defeated Sri Lanka by 6-0 to book a place in the semi-finals. Nepal became the group winner while Bhutan became the runner-up in this group. After the group stage match between India and Bangladesh, the fate of Nepal and Bhutan for the semi-final berth will be decided.
