CBI arrests former President of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education Kalyanmoy Ganguly

The CBI has arrested Kalyanmoy Ganguly, former President of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in an on-going investigation of a case.

It was alleged that the accused extended undue advantage and in conspiracy with others had facilitated illegal appointments to the undeserving and unlisted candidates to the post of Group-C staff in various schools across the State.

The arrested accused will be produced today before the Court of Special Judge, CBI Court, Alipore, Kolkata.
